Dinosaur Bar-B-Que has announced a new partnership with
Lyft - the fastest growing on-demand transportation service in the U.S. The collaboration aims to engage with the smokehouse and live music enthusiasts across upstate New York - including venue locations in
Buffalo,
Brooklyn,
Harlem,
Rochester,
Syracuse and
Troy (Greater Albany). The partnership makes Lyft the "Official Rideshare Partner" of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.
"We are thrilled to partner with Dinosaur Bar-B-Que on this exciting venture together," said Lyft Upstate New York Market Manager Derek Wedgeworth. "For 30 years, 'Dino' has been an area staple for great barbecue with a fun and vibrant atmosphere. We proudly join this regional and local tradition by offering people a memorable way to arrive hungry, stay happy, and get home responsibly."
"Our partnership with Lyft offers an easier way to get to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que," Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Marketing Director Jason Ryan said. Working with Lyft, we're making this experience even better by offering our customers fun, easy transportation options to enjoy their time here, without the hassle of parking."
Designated Lyft pick-up and drop-off zones will be available at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que locations, which are identifiable through the Lyft app.
To use Lyft, patrons can
download the Lyft app to their mobile devices. To recognize the partnership's kickoff weekend (March 23-25), new and existing users who request a ride to or from all Dinosaur Bar-B-Que locations will receive $10 in ride credits (50 percent of two rides, up to $5 per ride). Users can enter the promo code "
DINOBBQLYFT."
After opening weekend, new users who request a ride to or from all Dinosaur Bar-B-Que locations will receive $20 in free ride credit (or $5 off four rides). To access all promotions, users can enter the promo code "
