Ransomville Speedway has announced the return of several sponsors for the 2014 season. With the 14th annual Hangover 150 in the books, Big R has set its sights on preparing for Friday, April 25, and the annual test, tune and time night. The 57th season opener is slated for Friday, May 2.
Mike Greenawalt and Investors Service Company will return for the upcoming season in several capacities. They will once again serve as title sponsor for Big R's Sportsman Division and will also sponsor the Saturday night version of the King of the Hill Weekend. Investors Service Company will also sponsor another night, yet to be determined.
Ki-Po Chevrolet, located at 2534 Youngstown-Lockport Road in Ransomville, will return as the title sponsor for the Street Stock Division. Ki-Po will once again offer a track pace car that will be showcased not only at the Ransomville Speedway, but at various locations throughout the Western New York region.
Dig Safely of New York, located in East Syracuse will have a company night this season. Stay tuned for details.
Modern Corporation, another long time sponsor of Ransomville Speedway will return for the 2014 season with a company night in the Budweiser towers along with a billboard on the track property.
The next event on the 2014 Ransomville Speedway notebook is the membership meeting, Sunday, Feb. 9 at the Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. firehall, 1705 Saunders Settlement Road, Lewiston.
