On Friday morning, Ulrich Sign removed the Frontier House sign Lewiston residents have known and stared at since 1964. The black-letter-on-white-background marker was taken down - it was gifted to the Historical Association of Lewiston and Lewiston Museum - and a new sign, reading "Frontier House." was installed. This billboard more closely resembles the original sign placed on the building in 1824 - with white letters on a black background - and, yes, the period, too.

"Healthy Heart Night" is an annual event at Kaegebein Elementary School that is about "having the community come together," said Principal Dave Janicki-Howe.
