Football fare: Vote for WNY's top wings, pizza, place to watch a game

Niagara Frontier Publications’ fall food contest is back for another year. Now through the end of the professional football season, we want your input in naming the area’s best chicken wings, pizza, and place to watch a game. It could be a bar, a restaurant or a social club – the only requirement is that the nominee(s) be Western New York-based.

Voting is now underway for:

•WNY’s Best Chicken Wings

•WNY’s Best Pizza

•WNY’s Best Place to Watch a Game

The place(s) with the most votes will be prominently featured in the Niagara County Tribune/Sentinel and Island Dispatch, with additional content posted at www.wnypapers.com.

When you cast a vote for your favorites, you’ll be entered to win a food prize courtesy of an area restaurant. Winners will be chosen by random draw and notified by phone or email.

Voting begins Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, and will conclude when the local professional football team’s season ends. Vote and find rules online at www.wnypapers.com; or fill out an entry form found in the newspaper, and mail it to Niagara Frontier Publications, 1859 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.

Note: If you are voting for a chain restaurant (an eatery with more than one location), that establishment must be headquartered in Western New York.
