Price Rite Marketplace accepting applications for new Amherst store

Price Rite Marketplace announced it is accepting job applications for part-time positions at its 66th store, the 28,000-square-foot Price Rite of Amherst, located at 4224 Maple Road. The store is scheduled to open in the spring.

Dr. Glenda R. Rose, Dr. Thomas G. Barba and the staff of Rose Chiropractic P.C. in Lewiston held the 28th annual "Doctors with a Heart Day" on Saturday, Feb. 10. Chiropractic adjustments, examinations and nutritional testing were exchanged for donations of food collected to benefit the Niagara Community Action Program's food pantry. In total, 1,200 pounds of food were collected - that's over a half-ton!

Construction industry leaders come together to support Warm Up WNY

Several local construction companies have teamed up to support Warm Up WNY, a drive launched by New York State Sen. Tim Kennedy to collect new blankets for children at Oishei Children's Hospital (OCH). Arc Building Partners, Allied Mechanical, D.V. Brown and Associates, Ferguson Electric Construction, Frey Electric Construction, J.W. Danforth and Mader Construction Co. have joined forces to help push the drive toward its goal of gathering 8,000 blankets.
