ABC Entertainment and Fremantle announced Thursday that multihyphenate star Elizabeth Banks can now add game show host to her acting, directing and producing credits. Banks is set to host the return of "Press Your Luck," a game of wits, strategy and even higher stakes as contestants try to avoid the iconic and devilish Whammy for a chance at life-changing cash and prizes. "Press Your Luck" premieres Wednesday, June 12 (8 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

Jordan Peele debuted his first ever directorial movie "Get Out," on February 24, 2017 which had a budget of $4.5 million and made $255 million in the box office. "Get Out" was named one of the top ten movies of 2017 by Times Magazine and has won and been nominated for awards. For his first-time directing a movie, he did exceptionally well. Peele later wrote and directed another film, "Us," which was released on March 22, 2019 and had a budget of $20 million and made $249.6 million dollars so far in the box office.

UB joins Action Collaborative on countering US opioid epidemic

The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and UB's Clinical Research Institute on Addictions (CRIA) have joined the National Academy of Medicine Action Collaborative on Countering the U.S. Opioid Epidemic, which was announced Tuesday. This joint commitment makes UB one of more than 100 organizations that have joined this national effort.
