The Niagara History Center is taking applications to fill two student positions funded by the Grigg Lewis Foundation Workership Program at the museum this summer. The grant will support the student positions of a registrar assistant and an office assistant. Both staff will work from late May to mid-August, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The Erie County Legislature will decide Jan. 21 whether or not to approve the applications of approximately 40 Grand Island farmers to be part of the Amherst Agricultural District. All approved applications will then be forwarded to the New York State Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets for certification.
