Ellie Holcomb set to release new studio album, 'Canyon'

Singer/Songwriter Ellie Holcomb is set to release her third studio LP, "Canyon," on June 25 in partnership with Capitol Christian Music Group. This will mark the first label distributed release for the independent artist. Today, the title-track, "Canyon," is available along with the beautiful music video shot at Santa Elena Canyon in Big Bend National Park. Holcomb taped the video along with a team of five women with the video directed by Shelby Goldsmith.

Five-time Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Matthew West announced the release of "Brand New Deluxe Edition" (Story House Collective/Provident Label Group). Encompassing 32 tracks, which includes live and acoustic versions along with the originals from the "Brand New" album, the "Deluxe Edition" also offers West's individually released songs from the past year, "Take Heart," "Quarantine Life," and his duet with CMA Awards winner and three-time ACM Awards nominee Carly Pearce for "Truth Be Told."
COVID-19: 2 more pop-up vaccination sites in WNY

Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday announced 16 community-based pop-up vaccination sites are coming online over the next week in locations picked to ensure the COVID-19 vaccine is distributed equitably throughout New York. These sites are expected to vaccinate 7,100 people throughout the week.

The Town of Niagara Board unanimously voted Wednesday to rescind its approval of an asphalt project it had approved on July 21, 2020. On Friday, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced the award of $36.9 million to public housing authorities, public housing resident associations, Native American tribes, and nonprofit organizations across the nation. That includes $216,913 to promote jobs and self-sufficiency for Niagara Falls public housing residents as part of the Niagara Falls Housing Authority.
