New York State Sen. Jeremy Cooney, D-Rochester, continued his "Regener8 Cities" tour with roundtable discussion with local stakeholders in Buffalo. Sens. Tim Kennedy, Sean Ryan and Edward Rath co-hosted the panel, along with Cooney - chairman of the Senate's "Cities 2 Committee," which featured business, nonprofit and education leaders to discuss issues that impact cities outside of NYC.

Integrity Music's and Running Club Records' Citizens has reimagined their GMA Dove-nominated album, "The Joy of Being," as a live recorded album with today's release, "The Joy of Being Together." The new album features the original tracks as well as six additional ones from previously released songs recorded live. Celebrating a decade together, Citizens recorded the album in a church near the University of Washington. On June 29, Dan "Dambo" Gravelle of Niagara Falls was involved in a hit-and-run accident while riding his motorcycle. A SUV pulled out in front of him, making a left-hand turn, which cut him off and he "T-boned" the SUV.

Back in July, I wrote about the terrible storms and flooding that did tremendous property damage across Niagara County. The torrential rainfall hit in a line from Lewiston to Lockport, wreaking havoc on many areas below the escarpment.
