The Neptune Water Ski Club held their annual New Year's Day event in the Niagara River at Lewiston. They had to break ice out of the boat launch to get the ski boat in the water, and then had to ski around the ice flows in the river.

The world premiere of a new musical created by and starring Grammy-nominated Eddie Money takes the stage at Kodak Center in Rochester from Feb. 14-18. Once again, the Judges and Police Executives Conference of Niagara County gathered for its annual Christmas celebration at the Como Restaurant. Many members wore Christmas attire and spread a little Christmas cheer. But much more than that, the group was again able to help organizations in the community that help others.
