Village of Lewiston recovering from storm

A thunderstorm invaded the Village of Lewiston late Monday afternoon, dropping trees, limbs and branches. A South Fifth Street transformer was injured, which temporarily left some residents without power. That portion of roadway was closed for the first half of Tuesday, as village Department of Public Works crews cleaned up the site and restored the power generator.

The audience also gave the man who donned that 42 a moment of silence. The man who donned 42 was Mike Ziegler, who tragically passed away last winter. To honor their fallen teammate, the Falcons played just like "Ziggy" would have - hard, energetic, passionate and with heart.
