DeVantier passes national funeral board exam

Lewiston resident Edward DeVantier recently passed the National Association of Funeral Directors board exam. The exam is a requirement in obtaining a funeral director license in New York state.

DeVantier recently graduated from The McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, in New York City, with an associate's degree in funeral service and mortuary science. He will serve a one-year residency at a local funeral firm.

DeVantier also serves as the zoning officer for the Village of Lewiston.
