UB launches Blue Table online food pantry service

University at Buffalo students who have trouble accessing affordable food now have support on campus from Blue Table. The online food pantry service began with a soft launch in April and has been fully operational since the beginning of the fall semester.

North Tonawanda foundation announces $500,000 commitment to Buffalo City Mission

On Thursday, the E & W G Foundation, a subsidiary of the East Hill Foundation, announced a $500,000 commitment to support construction for the recuperative care unit in the new Buffalo City Mission Community Center at 100 E. Tupper St. The new unit will be named the East Hill Foundation recuperative care unit, and will be housed on the second floor of the new community center.

Niagara, Orleans planning committee showcases 20 shoreline resiliency projects awarded New York state 'REDI' funding

Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul and New York Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Commissioner Erik Kulleseid today showcased 20 shoreline resiliency projects in Niagara and Orleans counties that are receiving an estimated $49 million in state funding through Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI). The projects were reviewed at a meeting of the Niagara and Orleans REDI Region Planning Committee, which includes local elected officials and other stakeholders.
