Sens. Jacobs and Gallivan save funding for critical child care program

New York State Sens. Chris Jacobs and Patrick Gallivan succeeded in a last-minute effort to reinstate $500,000 in funding for the Facilitated Enrollment Child Care Program in Erie County. The program helps low- and moderate-income parents that are working attain affordable child care.

NFMMC awarded state grant to prepare 120 people for the future of patient care

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has been awarded a New York State Department of Health grant to prepare 120 people for the future of patient care. The two-year grant will support a care coordination training project that will be provided in partnership with Niagara County Community College.
