"Hollywood Rounds" begin Wednesday, Feb. 6; Top 40 announced on Thursday, Feb. 14; all-new semifinalist rounds in Las Vegas begin Wednesday, Feb. 20, and conclude with special three-night "Idol" event Tuesday, March 5, Wednesday, March 6, and Thursday, March 7, when Top 10 finalists are announced.

The outdoor skating rinks at DeVeaux Woods and Reservoir state parks are open and ready for business. This will be the fourth season at DeVeaux (rink never froze in 2012) and the inaugural season at Reservoir.

For the second year, the night before the top two teams kick off Super Bowl XLVII, the NFL will salute its best players, performances and plays from the 2012 season with the 2nd annual NFL Honors, to be broadcast Saturday, Feb. 2 (9 p.m.), on the CBS Television Network. Alec Baldwin will serve as host of the star-studded football and entertainment event.

The 13th annual Hangover 150 took center stage on New Year's Day. A bright chilly day greeted fans, drivers, and crewmembers as a total of 97 cars took to the frozen 1/2-mile oval. A great crowd was on hand - many arriving by snowmobile. You don't see that too often on race day.
