Niagara Falls Elks Lodge No. 346 will hold its annual "Fall Harvest Basket Auction" on Friday, Oct. 4, from 3 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 5, from 2 to 7 p.m., with drawings taking place at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Assemblyman John Ceretto is applauding the tentative agreement to approve the proposal for a new hotel in downtown Niagara Falls. The Hamister Hotel project now will be able to move forward because Niagara Falls Councilman Robert Anderson Jr. announced he will vote in favor of the hotel deal.
