Samantha Tremko lost her mom suddenly when she was just 7 years old.
Her family was just settling down from a family vacation in Florida, making the long drive home to North Tonawanda. After dropping grandparents off at their home, Samantha's mom, Robin, suffered a blood clot to the heart.
Samantha's whole world suddenly changed.

The official numbers from the Youngstown Village elections trustee and mayoral races are in. Raleigh Reynolds succeeded in winning his first full term as mayor, with 328 votes, 72 more than Republican mayoral nominee Norman Swann.

With just over 1,300 voters coming out to cast their ballot, the Lewiston Porter School District $41.2 million spending plan was passed. The vote, unofficial and without absentee votes counted, was 926 in favor, and 439 against.

The New York State Department of Transportation today announced the Robert Moses State Parkway northbound exit ramp to NY Route 93 in the Town of Porter is scheduled to be closed to all traffic Monday, June 2, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. This closure is necessary to conduct guiderail replacement.
