The following activity occurred Monday, May 12, to Sunday, May 18, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 91 response calls during this period.

Monday, May 12

•Lewiston Road, reckless driver. Unable to locate.

•2400 block of Upper Mountain Road, criminal mischief at a gas/convenience business. Statement taken from a female, 27; suspect unknown.

•700 block of Center Street, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a male, 33; suspect unknown.

•2100 block of Swann Road, officer requested. Patrol spoke with a male, 53; call cleared.

•100 block of North Water Street, juvenile problem at a business. Three males causing a problem; patrol located subjects and spoke with their parents.

•2100 block of Swann Road, domestic. Male, 53, listed as a victim. Female, 51, listed as a suspect. Female arrested for menacing, third. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Niagara University campus, University Drive, assist. LPD on location with State Police on a car-foot chase. Call addressed.

•800 block of James Drive, open burn complaint. Handled by patrol.

Tuesday, May 13

•400 block of Plain Street, check 911 call. Phone problems reported; all OK.

•5300 block of Annover Road, neighbor problem. Patrol spoke with a female, elderly, regarding a neighbor tossing garbage into her backyard. Resolved by patrol.

•100 block of Elliott Drive, alarm response. Accidental call by homeowner, Report filed.

•500 block of Center Street, larceny. Statement taken from a female, 61, concerning some missing items. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 22, for petit larceny. Report filed.

•Bridgeman Road, dirt bikes complaint. Party refused to stop. Bikes exited roadway by Bond Lake Park and party GOA.

•400 block of Cherry Lane, skunk problem. Situation addressed.

•700 block of Center Street, shoplifter complaint. Female, 49, listed as complainant; male 22, listed as a suspect arrested for shoplifting. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

Wednesday, May 14

•900 block of Elliott Drive, injured person. Male inquiring on previous accident; all OK.

•4800 block of Eddy Drive West, theft of services. Male agreed to pay taxi driver; all OK.

•Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, haz-mat response. Diesel fuel from a tractor-trailer. Lewiston haz-mat and Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. responders on location. Report filed.

•LPD office, arrest. Female, 48, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle stemming from a stolen vehicle complaint on the 4800 block of Eddy Drive West. Suspect turned herself into court earlier.

•900 block of Center Street, follow-up. Patrol followed up on earlier larcenies at a supermarket.

•Robert Moses Parkway, attempt to locate. Black vehicle reported going in wrong direction. GOA.

•2300 block of Upper Mountain Road, check welfare. Daughter refused to go home with her mother. Situation resolved.

Thursday, May 15

•300 block of Hawthorne Drive, criminal mischief-arrest. Male, 23, arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal mischief following a vehicle pursuit. Driver was one of two taken into custody. Charges forwarded to Town of Porter Town Court. No details on other subject.

•Bond Lake Park, vehicle/traffic stop-suspicious vehicle. Two vehicles, one with New York registration, the other with Arizona registration on location after dark. Tickets issued to driver from Arizona vehicle.

•4600 block of Creek Road, alarm response. All OK.

•3200 block of Porter Center Road, fight. LPD on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Office. All OK.

•Saunders Settlement Road, reckless driver. GOA.

•LPD office, walk-in property-dispute complaint. Male, 37, and female, 35, listed as persons of interest.

•Lewiston Town Court, unwanted person. Handled by patrol.

•1700 block of Saunders Settlement Road, DOT checks. Patrol reported six trucks were checked and uniform traffic tickets, unspecified, issued to drivers.

•Locations on the 5400 block of Walmore Road, and on Upper Mountain Road, separate reports of two-vehicle accidents. Statements from all drivers; reports filed.

•North Fifth and Center streets, one-vehicle accident-arrest. Male, 22, struck a power pole and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Driver taken to State Police substation Niagara for blood alcohol content testing; BAC result, .16 of 1 percent. Driver released on appearance and uniform traffic tickets for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, larceny. Patrol reported one gas grill and three plants, located outside, were taken.

Friday, May 16

•2100 block of Upper Mountain Road, missing person. Female, 25, listed as complainant and male, 31, listed as missing.

•Ridge Road, hit-run accident. Statement taken from driver of vehicle No. 2; other vehicle left scene.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, unattended death. Female, elderly, listed. County coroner on location. Report filed.

•Saunders Settlement Road, reckless driver. Caller reported a white van, heading westbound. Negative results on patrol's search.

•3100 block of Walmore Road, assist. Patrol assisted NCSO on a suspicious vehicle call. All OK.

•Model City Road, reckless driver. White vehicle headed northbound. Negative results on patrol's search.

•Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 28, arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Bridgeman Road, suspicious persons. Patrol checked area with negative results.

•600 block of Scovell Drive, open door. Patrol reported an abandoned house with a light on. Patrol unable to secure.

•Bond Lake, suspicious vehicle. Parties advised.

•900 block of Center Street, animal problem (two calls). Handled by patrol.

•900 block of Oneida Street, domestic. Female, 37, and male, 39, listed. Domestic incident report and patrol's report both filed.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, neighbor problem. LPD on location with State Police.

•4600 block of Model City Road, neighbor problem. Male, 45, listed as complainant; male, 35, listed as person of interest. Both parties advised call was a civil matter.

•Addresses on the 700 block of Cayuga Street and on the 2100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, separate alarm calls. Both locations secure.

Saturday, May 17

•Witmer and Military roads, assist. LPD on location with Town of Niagara Police for a vehicle/traffic stop. Vehicle towed.

•200 block of Portage Road, standby. No further details.

•1-190 and Upper Mountain Road, car-deer accident. Statement from driver; no injuries and vehicle towed. Report filed.

•Kiwanis Park, suspicious vehicle. Party advised by patrol.

Sunday, May 18

•100 block of North Fourth Street, juvenile problem. Gone on arrival.

Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, agency assist. LPD on location with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. All OK.

•1100 block of Upper Mountain Road, open door at a business. Building cleared and secured by patrol.

•400 block of West Avenue, assault report/standoff. LPD and multiple agencies involved in lengthy standoff involving a male (no age) at a residence. LPD reported fire started later at residence; male charged with arson; other charges pending.

•Mohawk and North Ninth streets, vehicle/traffic stop-arrest. Male, 22, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Blood alcohol content testing performed; BAC result, .17 of 1 percent. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Ridge Road, eastbound, reckless diver. All OK.
