Come January, Dennis Brochey will be supervisor in the Town of Lewiston. He unofficially defeated Ernie Palmer by 418 votes in Tuesday's election.

Tuscarora Heroes Monument installed in Lewiston

On Monday, under the watchful eye of site contractor Rocco DelGrosso and members of the Historical Association of Lewiston, the Tuscarora Heroes monument was installed on Center Street. Statues of three Native Americans, representing the Tuscarora nation, were planted in a park that pays tribute to "Tuscarora Heroes" - the brave men and women who rushed Lewiston residents out of the village during the 1813 British invasion.
