ASI receives Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation CARES funding

Arts Services Inc. was awarded $10,000 from the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation (MAAF) through the CARES Arts Organization Relief Grants program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Small to mid-sized nonprofit arts organizations in MAAF's partner states, jurisdictions, and territories were eligible to apply through a competitive process for one-time, nonmatching grants of up to $20,000.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will conduct community testing for COVID-19 at four additional sites beginning this week. The testing is supported by CDBG funds allocated for by the City of Niagara Falls. There will be no charge for city residents.

Niagara County Legislator Tony Nemi announced the application deadlines for two upcoming civil service exams - for social service worker and correction officer - are fast approaching, and encouraged those who are interested to sign up now for the exam. Pendleton volunteer firefighter reelected to FASNY's board of directors
