Christina Grimmie, a 20-year-old New Jersey native, has been on the road almost three weeks with "The Voice" Tour, performing in Texas and Florida, and winding her way toward Niagara Falls, where she'll take the stage July 11 at the Seneca Niagara Events Center.

Mayor Robert G. Ortt has announced the lineup for the four-concert series "Cornerstone's Niagara River Rocks" at Gratwick Riverside Park. The featured bands scheduled for the 2014 concert series include Primus, Tom Cochrane with Kim Mitchell, The Fray and Dennis DeYoung.

Shows take place Sundays, June 22, July 20, July 27 and Aug. 24 at what is regarded as one of the most beautiful venues along the Niagara River.

A 13-time Grammy winner and Billboard Century Award recipient, Emmylou Harris' contribution as a singer and songwriter spans 40 years. She has recorded more than 25 albums. In recognition of her remarkable career, Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008.

Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. has announced a diverse lineup on Buffalo's waterfront. Thirty concerts will rock the park, including 10 free Thursday concerts and four ticketed concerts.

Canalside is bringing the likes of Buffalo favorite and lead singer of the Tragically Hip, Gord Downie & The Sadies; reggae fusion artist Shaggy; neo soul/indie pop group Fitz and the Tantrums; and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring the music of Earth, Wind and Fire and Michael Jackson.

The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, announces Chris Cornell will bring his "Songbook" solo acoustic tour to town on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets ($49.50) go on sale Friday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m.

Cornell, Soundgarden's frontman, will play a series of intimate shows highlighting songs he has written throughout his illustrious career. This is the first time U.S. fans will hear acoustic arrangements of songs from 2012's critically acclaimed "King Animal," Soundgarden's first new studio album in more than 16 years.
