Rob Ortt: $54,000 for YWCA of the Niagara Frontier

State Sen. Rob Ortt today announced he succeeded in securing a total of $54,000 in state funding to help victims of domestic violence, sexual violence and rape throughout Niagara County. The money will go toward various services and programs offered through the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier in Lockport and North Tonawanda.

Ortt announces $500,000 for Niagara Falls Air Base

State Sen. Rob Ortt today announced $500,000 in state funding to establish an emergency management hub at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. Ortt secured the funds in the 2015-16 state budget (Empire State Development Corp., Aid to Localities, S. 2003-C) to help base retention efforts for NFARS.
RealtyUSA raises funds for WNY Heroes

Chris Kreiger walked away from RealtyUSA Wednesday with a big check and an even larger donation. He received $815 from the Lewiston branch, which raised funds during its second annual basket auction. That donation is more than double the amount collected in 2014.
