On Tuesday, WellNow Urgent Care announced its new offering of on-campus COVID-19 testing clinics for universities and colleges. Programs will offer molecular (PCR) COVID-19 testing administered to students, faculty and school staff by WellNow professionals. Each program will be custom developed to meet the needs and testing requirements outlined by the school.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday announced a Friday deadline for school districts that have not submitted plans for in-person learning. His office claimed 107 school districts had not submitted a plan for in-person learning. Districts that fail to meet the Friday deadline will be unable to provide in-person learning this year.

AAA Western and Central New York is thrilled that Gov. Cuomo approved virtual classes for the five-hour pre-licensing course that is required in New York state to obtain a driver's license. AAA Western and Central New York has heard from many young drivers and their parents who are inquiring about the five-hour prelicensing course that is required in New York state to obtain a driver's license. With classroom instruction not allowed in New York at this time, AAA driver training is closely following state mandates and cannot legally offer the course.
