'Art on Oliver Street' public art initiative to debut

The Oliver Street corridor, located within the City of North Tonawanda, will soon become home to a public art initiative known as "Art on Oliver Street." The initiative will consist of various public art installations in hopes of re-activating the streetscape.

United Way of Greater Niagara announces merger with United Way of The Tonawandas

Two leading United Way organizations in Niagara County - the United Way of the Tonawandas and United Way of Greater Niagara - announced completion this week of their merger and consolidation of services. Now operating under United Way of Greater Niagara, both chapters have come together to oversee and coordinate the services of 29 organizations throughout Niagara County, supporting a total of 46 different programs in the area.

North Tonawanda Clerk/Treasurer Quinn to return to deputy county clerk position

North Tonawanda Clerk/Treasurer Daniel R. Quinn announced he will leave his current position to return to the office of the Niagara County clerk. In a corresponding move, Niagara County Deputy Clerk for Administration Matthew L. Parish will become the North Tonawanda clerk/treasurer, succeeding Quinn. Quinn will assume his position effective Jan. 8.
