Niagara Academy students give warmth to nursing home residents

Some students at the Orleans/Niagara BOCES’ Niagara Academy showed their giving spirit before the holidays.

Spanish teacher Katherine Giansante and her students made blankets and decided to donate them to the residents of Northgate Nursing Home. The facility is located on Nash Road in North Tonawanda.

“We had a lot of fun making the blankets and the nursing home was so appreciative for our gift,” said Giansante.
