The Silo Restaurant in Lewiston opened for the 2022 season on Sunday.
General Manager Lexi Alfiere said, “We have an awesome staff that we’re really excited and grateful to have. We’re all looking forward to a successful Silo summer!”
Owner Alan Hastings added, “Like Lexi said, we have an amazing crew that I’m super thankful to have. We put a brand-new roof on this spring. I’m really looking forward to this summer. We can’t wait to get started.”
Alfiere noted, “We did a ton of upgrades last season – like the new digital menu, the new metal wall, new POS system, new equipment and tables. It may look a little different in here, but we are still committed to being the best.
“We put new heaters all around the deck, so we can comfortably accommodate during colder spring days.”
"The Haystack"

Of course, The Silo is world-famous for its “Haystack” sandwich. The shaved ribeye-meets-crispy potato straws on a soft bun was prominently featured on “Man V. Food,” and in numerous media outlets – this one included.
An authentic train caboose at the foot of the patio serves an assortment of Perry’s Ice Cream flavors, as well as unique sweet treats.
The Silo Restaurant, at 115 N. Water St., is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. For more information, call 716-754-9680 or visit https://www.lewistonsilo.com and https://www.facebook.com/silorestaurant/.
