Niagara USA Chamber press release

The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced the hiring of Ryan Guerinot as the organization’s new executive director.

Guerinot brings extensive experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, marketing, event development, sponsorship strategy and relationship building. His professional background includes leadership roles with ECMC Foundation, Niagara University, the PGA TOUR, Pegula Sports and Entertainment/Buffalo Bills, Major League Lacrosse, and the Columbus Crew.

“The board is excited to welcome Ryan Guerinot as the next executive director of the Niagara USA Chamber,” said Heidi Urban, chairwoman of the Niagara USA Chamber board of directors. “Ryan brings strong relationship-building experience, energy, and a proven background in partnerships, revenue development and organizational growth. We believe he is the right person to help lead the Chamber into its next chapter.”

Guerinot most recently served as director of development and marketing for ECMC Foundation, where he helped lead fundraising, event revenue growth, employee giving efforts and corporate partnership development. He also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Niagara University’s College of Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management.

The Chamber also recognized Craig Turner, who has served as interim executive director during the transition period. Turner will be moving forward with his work through Momentum AI, where he focuses on practical AI integration, consulting and training for chambers, associations and businesses nationwide. Turner will also rejoin the Niagara USA Chamber board of directors, where he'd served as chair before taking the interim role, and take on the role of chair for the Niagara USA Chamber Foundation.

“It has been an honor to help guide the Chamber through this transition, focusing primarily on modernization and storytelling,” Turner said. “I’m excited for Ryan, for the Chamber team, and for the members. Ryan brings real energy and a strong background in partnerships and relationship development, and I’m looking forward to seeing the great things he does with the Chamber.”

Additional information about Ryan’s start date, contact information and introductory opportunities for members will be shared in the coming weeks.
