Paula’s Donuts, a beloved Western New York doughnut institution, has partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Buffalo to debut a one-of-a-kind specialty treat available exclusively throughout the month of June: the “Burger Donut.”

The whimsical creation is a playful, edible tribute to the Ronald McDonald House’s founding mission partner, McDonald’s. Crafted from glazed and chocolate doughnuts, each “Burger Donut” is assembled to resemble a classic cheeseburger – complete with a seeded bun and colorful frosting condiments that stand in for the real thing. The result is as eye-catching as it is delicious.

A portion of the proceeds from every “Burger Donut” sold will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Buffalo, which provides a home away from home for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatment in the Buffalo area.

“We are so grateful to Paula’s Donuts for their creativity, generosity and heart,” said Lisa Booz, executive director of Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo. “This ‘Burger Donut’ is more than just a fun and delicious treat – it’s a meaningful reminder of the community that surrounds and supports the families we serve. Every bite makes a difference, and we hope the Buffalo community will come together to celebrate and give back this June.”

“Paula’s Donuts is incredibly honored to partner with Ronald McDonald House Buffalo to help support the amazing work they do for families in our community,” stated Paula Huber, owner of Paula’s Donuts. “Western New York truly lives up to its reputation as the ‘City of Good Neighbors,’ and we are grateful for the opportunity to come together, give back, and help make a difference one doughnut at a time.”

Volunteers from the Ronald McDonald House Buffalo will be on-site from 9 a.m. to noon at all four Paula’s Donuts locations every Saturday in June. They will host a table to share the organization’s mission and encourage customers to purchase the specialty doughnuts.
