West Herr Riviera Theatre Press Release and Photo
The West Herr Riviera Theatre, a cherished gem in the heart of the community, has recently unveiled breathtaking new lighting accents that magnificently enhance its historic exterior, thanks to the Niagara County Facade 2.0 Program.
The theater's executive director, David Fillenwarth, along with its creative director, Derek Heckler, spearheaded the idea a couple of years ago.
"We wanted to give the theater a distinct presence at night," Heckler said. "Thanks to the Niagara County Facade 2.0 Program, the scope of the project was within our reach."
Three hundred linear feet of color-changing LED neon runs along the roofline of the building, which can be programmed to change colors to the theme of different concert events and holidays. In addition, 10 custom LED floodlights illuminate Tim Martin's masterful and evocative mural on the south end of the building.
The lighting system was specified by Quality Lighting Systems Inc. and installed by Wittburn Enterprises Inc.
