The Niagara Wine Trail members announce the return of a wine and cheese event – now expanding to be a charcuterie event. Participating wineries will feature a different cheese paired with a special wine. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday June 1, and from noon until 5 p.m. Sunday, June 2. Tickets are $40 per person per day and include the cheese sample and three tastes of wine at each participating winery.

Yancey’s Fancy and Finger Lakes Artisan Foods are sponsoring events. They will provide the wineries with a variety of cheese and related signage. In addition to the cheese, the wineries will promote various wine pairings and other food items to enhance the experience.

The participating wineries and their cheeses are:

  • A Gust of Sun Winery: apple pie cheddar
  • Anthony Manor Winery: Berganost Havarti
  • Bella Rose Vineyard and winery: smoked gouda
  • Black Willow Winery: champagne cheddar
  • Honeymoon Trail Winery: Swiss
  • Long Cliff Winery: Strawberry cheddar
