A 6 p.m. rain shower – and with the more rain forecast throughout Friday night – forced Ransomville Speedway management to pull the plug on the opening night racing program.
Drivers and crews are asked to keep the wristbands for next Friday night, May 10.
That night will be the Sean Letts Memorial for the Stirling Lubricants DIRTCar Sportsman, plus a full card of racing.
Fans can bring in a nonperishable food donation for the local food bank for a coupon good for $1 off the famous Ransomville french fries at the main concession stand. Pit gates will open at 5 p.m., grandstands open at 6 p.m., and racing will get underway at 7:15 p.m.
