More on Slash

As the legendary lead guitarist for Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver – not to mention his own celebrated solo work – Slash is widely regarded as one of the most influential and revered guitarists today. He also has the ability to take something old and make it new again. This is the philosophy behind his new album, “Orgy of the Damned,” a collection of 12 dynamic songs (to be released on May 17) that shakes up and revitalizes blues classics with a stripped-down, instinctive approach. Working in a similar way to his 2010 self-titled solo LP “Slash,” which featured multiple guest vocalists, the acclaimed guitarist teamed up with numerous musicians and singers to create a singular expression that pays homage to the blues. By celebrating both well-known and largely undiscovered songs, Slash offers a nostalgic nod to the past while reinvigorating the songs with his inimitable guitar playing and the spirit of collaboration.

More on Keb’ Mo’

With five Grammys, 14 Blues Foundation Awards, and a groundbreaking career spanning nearly 50 years under his belt, Keb’ Mo’s got nothing left to prove. Just don’t tell him that. Keb’s newest album, “Good To Be,” weaves together the sounds of his childhood in Compton with the influences of his adopted hometown of Nashville, drawing on country, soul and blues to craft a heartwarming tapestry that transcends genre and geography as it celebrates the power of love and resilience, growth and gratitude, hope and memory.

More on ZZ Ward

ZZ Ward is an American singer-songwriter known for her unique blend of blues, rock and hip-hop influences. Her music seamlessly fuses soulful vocals with gritty guitar riffs, creating a dynamic sound and distinctive style has gained her recognition in the contemporary music scene, making her a captivating presence in the realm of modern blues and alternative rock.

More on Robert Randolph

What do classic rock heavyweights Elton John, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica all have in common? At some point in their career, they wanted to incorporate the singing sound of the pedal steel guitar – and they all called in the same person to do it: Robert Randolph.
