Also offering CSA program
Farm-fresh fruits and vegetables are now available at the foot of the Lewiston waterfront with the addition of a Coulter Farms weekend pop-up shop.
Under the big white tent just ahead of the Center and Water streets intersection, patrons can find food picked that morning and delivered ahead of the market’s noon start time.
Items in season right now include kale, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, green beans, string beans, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, Swiss chard and corn.
Also for sale are handmade pickled and canned items, gourmet nuts, plus freeze-dried candies, fruits and vegetables.
Those looking for even more Coulter Farms product can take advantage of a weekly community-supported agriculture program. CSA boxes are $35 and come packed with produce. More information is available by emailing [email protected].
The pop-ups will continue from noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer.
