Ransomville Speedway hosted its pre-tech session at the speedway on Sunday afternoon. Drivers representing all of Ransomville’s weekly racing divisions took part to make sure their equipment is all set for the 2021 season.

“We are excited about the season and cannot thank the drivers enough for coming out for pre-tech” Ransomville Speedway General Manager Jenn Martin said. “We do apologize, but no fans will be admitted into the grandstands for ‘Test, Tune, and Time.’ ”

Current New York state COVID-19 guidelines will be enforced (social distancing; face coverings must be always worn unless in one’s own pit area). VP Race Fuels presents “Test, Tune, and Time” will take place Friday, April 30. Pit gates will open at 5 p.m. for pre-tech inspection and cars will be on the track at approximately 7 p.m. Drivers who did not attend the pre-tech session on April 25 will have to go through safety pre-tech before going onto the speedway for the “Test, Tune, and Time” session.

Pole winners for the Krown Undercoating Modifieds and Investor’s Service Sportsman will be receiving a 55-gallon drum of VP Race Fuels fuel. Drivers in the Krown Undercoating Modifieds, Investor’s Service Sportsman, Ki-Po Motors Street Stocks, Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, and the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman are looking to make their first laps of the season at the “Big R,” plus set the front row for the 2021 season opener, scheduled for Friday, May 7.
