Seneca Resorts & Casinos is tracking guidance from local and national health officials during this time to provide the highest level of health and safety to its guests and team members.
A press release said, “We have implemented enhanced precautions and we will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds to be sure we are taking the most comprehensive actions.”
Due to the ongoing concern of Coronavirus (COVID-19) all Seneca Resorts & Casinos entertainment shows have been postponed through March effective immediately. This includes shows scheduled at Seneca Niagara Event Center, Seneca Niagara Bear’s Den Showroom, and Seneca Allegany Event Center.
Seneca Resorts & Casinos, as with other New York casinos, remains open and operational. As of today, there are no known coronavirus cases in Erie County or Niagara County.
“We have been in contact with our casino counterparts across the region with regards to how everyone is handling this current situation,” the press release read. “In addition to March shows being postponed, we have increased our EVS staffing in order to increase frequency of disinfecting procedures across all properties. The Seneca Resorts & Casinos team works hard to provide the cleanest environment, routinely cleaning machines, tables and dining surfaces. High traffic areas such as doors, handles, light switches and handrails have also increased frequency of disinfecting procedures.
