Things are heating up on 'The Chew' with Michael Strahan, Larry the Cable Guy & mouthwatering dishes

Summer sizzles on "The Chew" with low-n-slow barbecue, ice cold sweet treats, sides that shine and guests who bring their A-game to America's party in the kitchen.
Emmy-winning co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly and Daphne Oz welcome Joy Bauer, Larry the Cable Guy and Michael Strahan to "The Chew" during the week of June 19-23 (1 p.m. EDT) on The ABC Television Network.
Listings are as follows (and are subject to change):
Monday, June 19 - "Feel-Good Fast Food" - Larry the Cable Guy ("Disney Cars 3") cooks with Mario; Michael learns about delicious Korean classics from Esther Choi at Brooklyn's Mokbar and then makes a shrimp summer roll; Clinton makes edamame hummus; Carla creates a quick and easy broccoli pesto pasta to brighten any table.
Tuesday, June 20 - "The Chew's Summer Shortcuts"- Carla makes grilled Japanese eggplant with fresh tomato sauce and a blackberry charlotte for dessert; Clinton is joined by author Joy Bauer to make vegetable lo mein, and Michael grills up lamb ribs with shaved asparagus, mint and feta salad.
Wednesday, June 21 - "6th Annual Summertime, Funtime, Sunshine Happy Hour" -Michael Strahan ("The $100,000 Pyramid" and "Good Morning America") joins Mario to prepare a sizzling T-bone with green bean salad. Clinton preps a refreshing tiki bar combo - a "mellow monkey" cocktail with pineapple teriyaki meatballs. Carla builds a "Sundae Funday" with a banana split ice cream cupcake bar.
Thursday, June 22 - "Summer In A Snap" - Michael makes quick and simple grilled soy chicken thighs with honeydew relish in a "5-in-5"; Carla whips up a viewer's decadent recipe for red velvet cannoli cake; Mario cooks a snappy supper of grilled lamb chops and plums with mint pesto supper.
Friday, June 23 - "Build A Better BBQ" - It's a barbecue bonanza when Michael creates the perfect spice-rubbed smoked chicken. Mario and Carla offer sides of spicy honey Dijon coleslaw, and havarti and horseradish stovetop mac and cheese. Clinton completes the feast with peach cobbler with raspberry coulis.
