Mary Berry, Nia Vardalos, Ian Gomez, and Johnny Iuzzini return to American adaption of U.K.'s most watched television show
Following a successful season one on the ABC Television Network, "The Great American Baking Show" (formerly "The Great Holiday Baking Show") is back. Based on the hit U.K. series "The Great British Bake Off," this series is hosted by Nia Vardalos ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") and her husband, Ian Gomez ("Cougar Town"). It stars some of the nation's best bakers, as they compete in a series of themed challenges and eliminations all hoping to be crowned "America's Best Amateur Baker."
James Beard Award-winning pastry chef and author Johnny Iuzzini joins Britain's "Royal Queen of Baking," author and television personality Mary Berry, as a judge. Each week, they will taste the decadent and delicious fare these bakers create, as they throw down their best culinary skills.
