Oscars nominations voting ends Friday, Jan. 8

Nominations voting for the 88th Oscars will close at 5 p.m. PT Friday, Jan. 8. The votes will be tabulated and verified by the international accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The 88th Oscars nominations announcement will be broadcast live Thursday, Jan. 14, from the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

Oscars for outstanding film achievements of 2015 will be presented on "Oscar Sunday," Feb. 28, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, and televised live on the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The Oscars will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
