Buffalo Bisons, (716) to host 'Meet the Team Night'

April 7 event kicks off (716) Food and Sport's sponsorship of 2015 Bisons baseball

Buffalo Bisons General Manager Michael Buczkowski and HARBORCENTER Vice President of Food and Beverage Dominic Verni today announced the Buffalo Bisons 2015 "Meet the Team Night" at (716) Food and Sport. Fans will have a chance to meet Bisons players and get ready for the start of the season with a premium experience at (716) Tuesday, April 7 (7-9 p.m.).

There is no ticket required to attend the Bisons "Meet the Team Night" at (716) Food and Sport.

"This 'Meet the Team' event is a great opportunity for our fans to get to know the 2015 Buffalo Bisons club in an exciting sports environment," Buczkowski said. "We're looking forward to (716) and Coca-Cola field being destinations throughout the summer for the fans of Western New York and Southern Ontario who come down for Bisons baseball."

"We're excited to partner with the Bisons to host another event that makes (716) a destination for all sport fans," Verni said. "(716) has been a natural gathering space for fans of the Bills, Sabres and Bandits, along with fans of sports' biggest events through our 'Ultimate Fan Destination Series.' As we get ready for another exciting baseball season, we look forward to welcoming Bisons fans with a big celebration, and giving them a place to enjoy throughout the summer."

Bisons "Meet the Team Night" will feature many activities that have become staples at (716) during special event parties. The (716) staff will have Bison-themed food and drink specials, along with trivia contests and giveaways from the Bisons, HARBORCENTER and One Buffalo.

Ben Wagner, "The Voice of the Bisons," will be on hand to host the event and conduct player interviews that will be heard throughout the restaurant. Additionally, Bisons fans will get a chance to meet mascots Buster Bison and Chip, as well as the "Wing Race" characters - Wing, Celery and Bleu Cheese, who will be greeting attendees and taking pictures throughout the evening.

As baseball season begins, (716) will be the place to be for all Bisons fans before and after home games at Coca-Cola Field. The excitement will extend beyond the opening pitch, as all Bisons games, both home and away, will be shown on the restaurant's 38-foot television screen. Additionally, (716) will host three postgame player meet-and-greet events throughout the summer.
