"Very Merry Mantel" week kicks-off Monday

LeAnn Rimes, Nick Cannon, Paula Deen, Camilla Alves and ESPN's Chris Fowler are guests

"The Chew" continues its countdown to Christmas with more recipes, cocktails and crafts to get viewers into the holiday spirit. On Monday, "The Chew" launches its "Very Merry Mantel" series featuring Clinton Kelly's innovative and easy ideas for decorating your mantel this holiday season.

On Tuesday, "The Chew" hosts its first 48-hour flash sale with "Sizzling Steals" featuring tableware and kitchen items. Lifestyle expert Tai Beauchamp hosts this unique opportunity for viewers to purchase "must have" items at deeply discounted prices. Monday, Dec. 8 - "Christmas Comfort Classics" - LeAnn Rimes ("One Christmas: Chapter 1"); sausage and cheese manicotti; "Very Merry Mantel" week featuring wrapped present stocking holders; Chris Fowler.

Tuesday, Dec. 9 - "Snow Day!" - Nick Cannon; "Very Merry Mantel" continues with light-up canvas trees; flash sale featuring deeply discounted items; Jesse Palmer guest co-hosts.

Wednesday, Dec. 10 - "Country Christmas" - Paula Deen; "Very Merry Mantel" shows viewers how to make a festive berry wreath; a visit to The Enchanted Lights Tour in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

Thursday, Dec. 11 - "Chew To The Rescue"- Camilla Alves; "Very Merry Mantel" and a white magnolia leaf garland; Carla Hall helps a family create a make-ahead holiday feast.

Friday, Dec. 12 - "Tree Trimming Treats" - Brooke Shields guest co-hosts; the final day of "Very Merry Mantel" features a snowman hat tree topper.
