GMA meteorologist Ginger Zee and Kelli Pickler to guest co-host
Daphne Oz to Skype and update her co-hosts about motherhood
Spring has sprung at "The Chew." Join the hosts March 31-April 4 for a week of delicious recipes bursting with flavor, Easter treats, and a Skype update from co-host Daphne Oz, who is still on maternity leave until late April. "Good Morning America's" Ginger Zee will guest co-host March 31 followed by Kellie Pickler on April 1. Chef Carla Hall whips up a dish from her new cookbook, "Carla's Comfort Foods: Favorite Dishes from Around the World."
"The Chew" features celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon and Carla, entertaining expert Clinton Kelly and health and wellness enthusiast Daphne. It airs weekdays at 1 p.m. on ABC.
Monday, March 31 - "Small Plates, Big Taste" - Guest co-host is meteorologist Ginger Zee; a visit to Gotham West Market for tapas at El Colmado; Lisa Lillien (author, "Hungry Girl") cooks with Michael and talks about her new book.
Tuesday, April 1 - "Comfort Food Express" - Kellie Pickler ("The Woman I Am") is guest co-host; Carla enlists Kellie's help as she prepares a tasty dish from her new cookbook, "Carla's Comfort Foods: Favorite Dishes from Around the World."
Wednesday, April 2 - "Wacky Wednesday" - Howie Mandel joins Michael in the kitchen. Clinton hosts a game of "Raiders of the Lost Fridge" with audience members, and the winner will cook with Mario.
Thursday, April 3 - "Batter Up!" - Mario and Michael make a baseball stadium favorite; Michael cooks a ballpark classic. "The Chew" travels to Savannah, Ga., to see the new bunny cupcakes at Back in the Day Bakery.
Friday, April 4 - "Extra Value Friday: Easter Extravaganza"— A colorful visit to a jellybean factory in Fairfield, Calif. Mario cooks a sumptuous and simple Easter feast. Carla prepares a delicious dessert. Daphne checks in on Skype with an update on motherhood and new daughter, Philomena.
