The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, Calif.
The Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, Calif., is one of the swankiest "Yappy Hours" around. From May through September, a "Yappy Hour" charity event benefiting Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets is held each month at the hotel. Humans can dine on burgers, beer and wine, while their canine counterparts sample hand-made dog biscuits and liver- or cheese-flavored water. But the story's not over after September: The hotel features a special "Yappy Howl-O-Ween" event in October, and a "Yappy Howl-iday" celebration in December.
Rumor, the Las Vegas Boutique Resort, Las Vegas
Every third Thursday of each month, the party is on at Rumor Boutique Resort in Las Vegas. The hotel welcomes well-behaved dogs of all breeds and sizes to its famed "Yappy Hour," where there are great cocktails, delicious "yappetizers," and live DJs providing music. For four-legged guests, there are doggie contests and free doggy goodie bags.
The Liberty Hotel, Boston

Allentown Brew Works, Allentown, Pa.
There's truly no beer better than a handcrafted brew, and there's no one better to enjoy a brew with than your best canine buddy. Allentown Brew Works in Allentown, Pa., knows this, so every Monday, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., they hold a "Doggie Yappy Hour" on the Biergarten Patio. On the menu: artisanal and seasonal beer and the "Yappy Hour Special," the purchase price of which goes toward a respected animal charity.

In tropical Miami, the World of Beer's Dadeland location offers a "Yappy Hour" that doesn't quit. The weekly event lasts all day, and features treats for your dog and a sweet discount for you: $1 off of any beer with the word "dog" in its name.
