"Talk of the Nation" cancelled by NPR; "Here & Now" extended to two hours
Beginning July 1, WBFO-FM 88.7 will be making changes to its programming lineup.
"Talk of the Nation," which has been cancelled by NPR, will be replaced with the popular programs "Tell Me More" and "Fresh Air." "Tell Me More" will air from 2-3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and "Fresh Air" will air from 3-4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with a repeat broadcast from 7-8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
"Here & Now" is being expanded from one hour to two, airing from noon until 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
"Science Friday from NPR" (formerly "Talk of the Nation Science Friday") stays in the schedule, airing on Fridays from 3-4 p.m.
The rest of the WBFO-FM 88.7 program lineup remains unchanged.
