The Historic Riviera Theatre and Performing Arts Center has announced country legends Roy Clark and Mel Tillis will perform a rare double-bill show at the Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St., North Tonawanda, at 8 p.m. on June 1.
This performance takes the place of the previously schedule George Jones concert. The legendary singer recently passed away.
"We are very excited to have two country legends perform a rare double-bill show here at the Historic Riviera that will offer a remembrance of what was scheduled to be a wonderful evening with the late George Jones," said Executive Director Frank J. Cannata.
Ticket prices are $58 and $68 each. Patrons who purchased George Jones tickets have the option to keep the seats they currently hold for the newly scheduled show to see Roy Clark and Mel Tillis. (New tickets will be issued for the same seats.) Or they may request a refund if they do not wish to attend the Roy Clark/Mel Tillis show. (Refunds will be made back to a patron's credit card or via check to patrons who paid by cash or check. Checks will be mailed. No cash refunds can be made.)
