Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier has announced that defenseman Adam Pardy has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Pardy (age 29, 6'4", 226 lbs.) joins the Sabres for the third time this season and has recorded one point (1 assist) and 10 penalty minutes through five games played for the club. He was last called up to play for the Sabres on Feb. 25. Pardy has nine points (2 goals, 7 assists), 22 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating in 21 AHL games with the Americans in 2012-13.
The Bonavista, Newfoundland, native was acquired from the Dallas Stars with forward Steve Ott on July 2. In four previous NHL seasons, Pardy recorded 29 points (4/25) and 157 penalty minutes in 183 games with the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars.
