E!'s 'Live from the Red Carpet: The 2013 Academy Awards' sets record highs on-air and online

Most watched and most traffic for Oscars' coverage in network history

E!'s expanded "Live from the Red Carpet: The 2013 Academy Awards" from 5:30-8:30 p.m., hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic on Sunday, Feb. 24 averaged nearly 3.7 million Total Viewers and 1.9 million Adults 18-49, making it the most-watched Academy Awards "LRC" in the network's history. It was also E!'s most watched "LRC: Academy Awards" among A18-49 in 11 years. In the core 6-8 p.m. time period, the show averaged 4.4 million Total Viewers and 2.3 million A18-49, which were gains of 7 percent and 13 percent versus 2012, respectively.

E!'s "Live from the Red Carpet: The 2013 Academy Awards" was up 3 percent with Total Viewers and up 8 percent with A18-49 over 2012. The "LRC: Academy Awards" also saw strong gains of 18 percent versus year-ago with Adults 18-34 (953K) and 28 percent gains with Men 18-34.

E!'s digital coverage of the 2013 Oscar was the best awards show performance ever, with strong double digit growth from the prior year across most key metrics (25.5MM total digital page views, up 49 percent year over year) with record highs from both Eonline, Eonline mobile web and app). The 2013 awards season is pacing to be E! digital's best to date in total and mobile page views.
