Newly crowned World Series champs Sergio Romo and Barry Zito of the San Francisco Giants will take to the couch on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (11:35 p.m.) on Thursday, Nov. 1.
Zito only gave up one run in his last two 2012 postseason starts and was able to win game one of the World Series against the reigning American League MVP and Cy Young winner Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers. Romo, who took over as the Giants closer late in the season, replaced long-time closer Brian Wilson, surrendered only one run and had four saves in the post-season.
This marks the first ever "Tonight Show" appearance for Romo and Zito.
