Riviera Theatre presents 'A Christmas Story' benefit event with Ian Petrella

The Historic Riviera Theatre presents "A Christmas Story" benefit event with Ian Petrella on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m.

Petrella who played Randy Parker (Ralphie's little brother) in the movie "A Christmas Story," will speak at 2 p.m. about filming the movie and the things done behind the scenes. The movie will follow at 3 p.m. After the movie, meet Petrella, see the fire truck that rescued Flick from the flagpole (rides available for a small donation), and try to win one of two limited edition Red Ryder BB guns (donated by Petrella).

All proceeds from the raffles will benefit Sweeney Hose Company No. 7. Ticket sales and concessions will benefit the Riviera Theatre.
