TEAM CHRISTINA:

Chris Mann

Hailing from Wichita, Kan., this 29-year-old received a degree in opera from Vanderbilt and left for Europe when cast in an Italian opera. He is here to prove that his is not only a classical voice, but also a diverse and unique one. He wants to win "The Voice" to prove to everyone that perseverance and training does indeed pay off.

Jesse Campbell

This soulful single father from Los Angeles is definitely a survivor. Having once been homeless, Jesse slept in his car in a grocery store parking lot. With the help of his family, he got back on his feet and was able to make money by singing at his church. He now lives in an apartment with his daughter. He wants to win "The Voice" to get into the industry and to have financial security for his family.

Lindsey Pavao

A bartender from Sacramento, Calif., Lindsey always knew she had musical talent - but didn't start performing seriously in public until recently. But the relative newcomer's natural ability was apparent to the coaches immediately after she performed her own unique interpretation of Trey Songz' "Say Aah." The indie-rock, guitar-playing singer counts Radiohead, The Foo Fighters, Fiona Apple and Bjork among her biggest influences.

THE LiNE (Hailey Steele and Leland Grant)

This quirky country duo met at a CMA after-party in Nashville, Tenn., and soon became co-writers. Although they briefly dated, they are now great friends who still finish each other's sentences like an "old married couple." With amazing writing abilities and beautiful harmonies, they come to "The Voice" to take the next step: from being writers to becoming performers.

TEAM CEE LO

Juliet Simms

Juliet Simms is a 25-year-old indie rocker with big aspirations. She spent years living on people's couches in hopes of finally getting signed to a record label. She draws inspiration from David Bowie, Janis Joplin and Dashboard Confessional, and says if the three had a baby, she would be it. Juliet has been pursuing music since she was 18 and is ready to make a big impact in this competition.

Angie Johnson

31-year-old Angie Johnson enlisted in the Air Force at 19 years old. Her career coincided with her passion for music when she joined the Air Force Musicians Troop. A video of the performance was posted on YouTube, which went viral and gained more than 2 million hits - the rest is history!

Jamar Rogers

A recovering drug addict, Jamar Rogers is an inspiration to all. Although he hit rock bottom at one point, Jamar has been sober for six years and has turned his life around. Through his soulful tunes, this charmer from the Bronx is determined to show everyone his life is back on track, and to prove to the world that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

TEAM BLAKE

RaeLynn

RaeLynn is a Dolly Parton-loving, horse-riding, "Legally Blonde"-watching country pop artist who graduated high school two years early from her hometown of Baytown, Texas, in order to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles. Growing up on a farm feels like a world away from her current life in Los Angeles, but with the help of a very supportive family and a coach like Blake, this 17-year-old is excited for the opportunity "The Voice" brings.

Gwen Sebastian

North Dakota native Gwen grew up in a farming town of just 800 people while fostering her love of music by watching her parents play local gigs at night. Her musical favorites range from Garth Brooks to Lady Gaga, and she credits herself with being extremely loyal. Gwen is currently at a crossroads in her life - deciding whether to continue to be a full-time musician or start a family. She hopes her experience on "The Voice" will help her decide the direction to pursue.

Jermaine Paul

Jermaine comes to "The Voice" ready to take center stage and make a name for himself. Now a proud father a two, this Crosby, Stills & Nash fan hopes to shape his sound and image to reclaim the spotlight!

Angel Taylor

This R&B singer played the piano as a child to poetry her sisters wrote. Now 23, Angel has always thought about becoming a schoolteacher, but is ready for a fresh start in music. In her downtime, she enjoys relaxing with a People magazine or watching her favorite movie, "Pride and Prejudice."

Kim Yarbrough

This performer has spent four decades singing, acting and playing the violin, and hopes she does not have to shelve the idea of becoming the next Bette Midler. She has continued trying to balance music with making ends meet, while keeping her spirits high by surprising people by talking like an old man! Citing Tina Turner as a musical influence, Kim has decided that "The Voice" is her chance to make it in the business.
