The Niagara team from Gleason's School of Gymnastics levels 5 and 6 recently participated in Graffiti meet held in Niagara Falls on Sunday, Jan 8.
For level 5 in the age 7 to 9 division, Kendall Sobczyk, a second-grader at Errick Road Elementary School, placed seventh on vault, seventh on bars, sixth on floor, with an overall score of 34.175 landing her in eighth place.
Emily King, a second-grader at West Street Elementary, placed fifth on bars, second on beam, fifth on floor, with an overall score of 34.450 which earned her fifth place.
In the 10-year-old division, Marissa Peters, a fourth-grader at Starpoint, placed seventh on bars, fifth place on beam and seventh on floor, with an overall score of 34.6, earning her a seventh place spot. Erica Beyer, a fifth-grader at Errick Road, scored an 8.4 earning her 10th place on the vault.
In 12 and over division, Erica Weber, a sixth-grader at Edward Town Middle School, placed sixth on vault, fifth on bars.
Maddison Walton, a seventh-grader also at Edward Town, had an overall score of 35.95, which earned her second place overall placing seventh on vault, third on bars, first on beam and third on floor.
For level 6 in the 10-11 age group, Jenna Peterson, a fifth-grader at Errick Road Elementary, placed seventh all-around with an overall score of 33.60. She earned fifth place on beam seventh on vault, eighth on bars, and 10th on floor.
In the 12 and up age group, Samantha Cirrito, a sixth-grader at Edward Town Middle School, placed seventh all around with an overall score of 32.725. She placed second on bars, third on vault and sixth on floor.
